Outages & maintenance

On the night of Monday 28 to Tuesday 29 September we will be carrying out a firmware
upgrade on the aggregation router for the FttH and FttO interconnect in the Gouda and
Bollenstreek regions. The work will take place between 01:00 and 07:00 (CEST).

The maintenance affects all OpenFiber connections on the KPN and Glaspoort networks in
these regions. The expected interruption is approximately 5 minutes within this window.

Once the work is complete, your connection should come back online by itself. If it
does not, you can try restarting your modem and, if applicable, your router.

We have been notified by KPN of a planned power interruption at the Zoetermeer Oosterheem local exchange on Tuesday 29 September, between 08:00 and 15:00.

Fiber and xDSL connections served by this exchange will be unavailable during the maintenance.

We understand that daytime maintenance can be very inconvenient, for example for retailers who rely on the internet for card payments. We have therefore asked KPN why they chose to carry out this work during the day.

Customers with our 5G backup will hardly notice a thing. The backup runs over a completely separate network, so their connection switches over automatically and stays online. On the night of Tuesday 29 to Wednesday 30 September we will be carrying out a

During the night of Tuesday 29 to Wednesday 30 September, between 02:00 and 04:00, we will be replacing the aggregation router that serves the following locations:

Delft Hoog
Boven de Hoven 1
Boven de Hoven 2
Boven de Hoven 3
De Hoven Passage

This work is in preparation for the three new apartment complexes (Loof and Duet).

On the night of Monday 5 to Tuesday 6 October we will be carrying out maintenance on the equipment in our local exchange in Rijswijk. The work will take place between 04:00 and 07:00 (CEST).

During the maintenance your internet connection will be temporarily unavailable. Please allow for an interruption of up to 1.5 hours within this window; in practice the connection is often back sooner.

Once the work is complete, your connection should come back online by itself. If it does not, you can try restarting your modem and, if applicable, your router.

A KPN backbone fiber cable connecting Pijnacker to Leidschendam via Nootdorp will be rerouted during the night of Monday 12 to Tuesday 13 October.

During the work, connections on the KPN and Glaspoort networks in the municipality of Pijnacker-Nootdorp will be interrupted. All affected connections are expected to be back online by 07:00 at the latest.

Not all connections in Pijnacker-Nootdorp depend on this cable. Delfgauw, for example, is connected via Delft.

During the night of 9 to 10 November we will be carrying out a maintenance on the connection supplying the Ursulinenhof apartment complex in Vianen. The work will take place between 00:00 and 05:00 (CEST) and is expected to take no longer than 15 minutes.

During this brief interruption your internet connection will be unavailable. It should come back automatically once the work is complete; if it does not, you can try restarting your modem and, if applicable, your router.

Delta will carry out planned maintenance on one of the NNI connections between the Delta network and OpenFiber.
During the maintenance, sessions will be (temporarily) moved to another NNI connection. This may cause a brief service interruption, after which connections will be restored automatically.
